Security Issues

Similar to Prompt 2 this application doesn’t show the fingerprint for sftp connections upon first connect, which makes it possible to launch man-in-the-middle attacks, which in turn makes it impossible to establish a secure and trustworthy connection. An app which is supposed to be used for sftp („Secure“ file transfers) should at least implement basic security features. As a consequence I can only rate this app with one star. Apart from this the app has got a nice look and feel for which I’d like to give more stars if it wouldn’t fail from security point of view.

Really?!

I was using transmit for Mac since years and always loved it. That the iOS version would feature sync via Dropbox or whatever was a no-brainer I thought, so I didnt think twice before I drop 10 Euros on this. But, it DOESNT... No way to sync your servers between desktop and mobile. Why would you leave that out?

Very usefull, indeed!

Super!

I would love to have...

...two remote panes! Please. :)

Unfinished

Not ready: "Send to" crashes the app, no manual available and the "App Support" page is a joke.

Elegant, fast and easy to use

I use the desktop version all the time. The only problem with the desktop version it does not support the new authentication method for Amazon S3 and as a result of this it cant connect to S3 buckets in the Frankfurt data center. But the iOS version connects without any issues. Please fix the desktop version as well, just because of this limitation I am searching for alternative on my MacBook Pro.

excellent

The best

Great app - good use of new Extension functionality

It was a bit difficult to test the extension part of Transmit due to a lack of apps that support it, but after finding a few, it was great to see that Transmit is as excellent an experience on iOS as it is on Mac. As always with Panic applications, day 1 purchase

Nearly perfect

Has almost everything you could ask for in a mobile version of Transmit. I would just like to be able to open the document picker within Transmit to copy files from Dropbox and iCloud Drive instead of only being able to send files from other apps.

Great!!

Love the concept! Hope to see more app extensions soon.

Im impressed

I was up and running in seconds. Beautiful design and extremely easy to use. At $10 (launch price) I have absolutely no regrets.

Not bad ...

NOT bad at all …. WELL DONE!

Solid

Like all Panic products, this is a a delight to use. Easy to get up and running quickly - the only hiccup was that importing my favorites from the desktop version wasnt immediately obvious (though the support docs on the Panic site are great and explained how to do it quite clearly). I suspect that youll be able to sync that up with the desktop natively soon. Question, why "Panic sync" instead of syncing settings through iCloud?

Indispensable utility for your iOS tool belt.

As powerful as its MacOS counterpart but now within reach at all times. Love the Amazon S3 support.

WOW

if you need an FTP/SFTP client this is the one period! You know what on 2nd thought buy it even if you dont need an ftp client ITS THAT GOOD! Lol jokes aside iv used the desktop version since its launch years ago and this is worthy of the same praise. It doesnt force you to make any concessions using it on a phone/tablet. it works, its feature packed and most important for any FTP client Its fast! keep up the good work and keep the features and updates coming guys , beautiful work!

Terrific

Like the mac version, this is the best ftp client I ever had. I have been using Transmit since its version 1 and I always have successful results. I only hope that a soon to be release will be localized in French. Thank and please continue your excellent work.

Excellent

Just as good as the desktop version. What more needs to be said?

Awesome

Awesome app, only a little too expensive!

Great App

It may be expensive but there are many features that justify the price for me. Awesome interface and very intuitive. Definitely recommended, and definitely worth the price.

Good app, shame on Apple

5 stars for the great, works well with SFTP to my Synology NAS. Shame on Apple for "Telling" you to remove the send to others services like iCloud disk feature. Wondering why did you have to listen to that demand if your app was already approved and published.
